Arc welding supplier plans UK open days

Austrian manufacture of advanced arc welding equipment, TPS Fronius, has scheduled a series of UK Open Days at its Technical Centre during August 19-21, 2008 Visitors can witness demonstrations of a variety of arc welding systems from TPS Fronius Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st August 2008

Demonstrations will include the following.

* Fully digitally controlled pulsed MIG for aluminium and stainless steel applications.

* Cold Metal Transfer - high speed MIG process for the welding of thin materials, down to 0.6mm.

* Fully digitally controlled inverter TIG, AC/DC capable of welding with 100m TIG torch extension with no loss of H/F.

* Transcut 300 - a portable, air-free plasma-arc system, able to cut up to 8mm.

* Panther 200-500amp, silenced, multi-phase diesel welding generators.
